Thank you for inviting me to be the moderator and speaker at the HKCPsych 2025 Symposium: "Safeguarding Children's Mental Health in the Digital Age." My talk was on the potential neuro-alterations of prolonged and addictive screen usage and its reversibility. Although there are significant associations between excessive digital use and mental health problems. the verdict is still out on whether there are any causative relationship between the two.
